Autumn
Parents are invited to speak to their child’s teacher – a remote option may be available.
A set appointment is arranged on a preset day which is advertised within the Dates for Parents at the start of the year.
The focus for this meeting is how children have settled in to the new academic year and their new class. Work is not shared at this meeting. Parents are encouraged to attend organised welcome and stay and learn meetings during this term.
Spring
Parents are invited to speak to their child’s teacher – a remote option may be available.
A set appointment is arranged on a preset day which is advertised within the Dates for Parents at the start of the year.
The focus of this meeting is the progress from September of the child. Assessment data is shared in relation to this and discussed at this meeting.
There is an opportunity for parents to see their children’s work either at this meeting or prior at a Book Look or Collect from Class session.
Summer
Following the Record of Achievement having been sent home, parents are invited to make an appointment to speak to their child’s class teacher should they wish.
As in other terms, activities and events in school will offer parents opportunity to see their child’s work prior to this.
We encourage parents who have any questions or concerns about their child throughout the year to contact school and arrange to speak to their class teacher.
