On Tuesday 12th September, we had a walk around our local area of Thorpe Hesley, where we went to see Keppel’s Column. Along the way, we were working on our geographical skills as we focused on the environment and different land types and uses. When we arrived at Keppel’s Column, we had the opportunity to do an observational drawing as we sketched the local landmark. We then used this for follow-up work in school.
