Our careers curriculum

Does your child already know what job they would like when they are older?

Here at Thorpe Hesley Primary School, we are passionate about providing children with a wide range of opportunities to help guide them when considering the world of work. As part of our PSHE curriculum, we challenge gender stereotypes and look at the essential skills required in order to access certain jobs in the future.

We are currently in the process of planning a whole-school careers day which will be held on Friday 7th June 2024. Parents have already received information about this; please do let us know if you can help us out and wish to be part of this day.

Already this academic year, we have had a number of visitors in to school in both lesson time and during assembly:
