Finally we can tell you the news we have been waiting to share - Thorpe Hesley Primary School is an OUTSTANDING school. Our Ofsted 13th and 14th July 2017 confirmed this and the report is below as well as on our Ofsted page.

Also please find below the document we sent home at the start of the year. It has all the planned dates for the year 2017-18 which you may find useful. Please note that a couple of dates / times are altered from the original leaflet, these are high lighted in orange. Obviously other things may come up and we can't always guarantee that events won't overtake us! However, get these dates in your diary!

Welcome to Thorpe Hesley Primary School - an OUTSTANDING school!

A place where children grow.

When visitors walk into our school they feel welcome. There is an air of creativity, a feeling of excitement and obvious enthusiasm and love for learning from children and staff alike. To be truly successful, a school needs to have a heart, and Thorpe Hesley Primary School has a big heart.

We feel at Thorpe Hesley Primary School that the most important part of a school is the pupils. We hope that, should you visit us, you feel this too.

We are now in the third year of our adventure as a primary school and staff, pupils and parents are working together to continue to build a school we can be proud of. Parents, carers and grandparents are always welcome in school to support us in whatever way they feel they can. Come and join us in our learning!
